The preserve has the main high-altitude vegetation belts from mountain tundra to a snow ice belt 1000 to 4280m above sea level. Tens of endemic plants grow here. The fantastically beautiful alpine meadows of Aksu-Jabagly flower in spring. The flowering time of a rare flower – giant Greig tulip – begins at this time.
