The Alakol Preserve offers a few routes to get familiar with the amazing and mysterious world of birds:
· car trip to the Tentek River Delta, boat route on the Karamoiyn Lakes and watching water and near-water fowl such as stifftail, white-eye, swans and other birds;
· car route along the Sassyk Kol Lake to the habitat of duadak bustards, houbara bustards, grey crane and demoiselle cranes;
· water route to the Araltobe Islands to see the colonies of relic gulls, great black-headed gull and other rare birds;
· colonies of Dalmatian pelicans and European white pelicans, great black-headed gulls, great cormorants and Caspian terns.
