Kazakhstan and Russia plan to open International center of nautical tourism on the Caspian sea
The delegation of Astrakhan region arrived to Aktau by “Mariya Yermolova” motor ship. During several days the representatives of power and businessmen of two neighboring regions discussed the cooperation in spheres of economy, industry and tourism. The first cruise voyage of passenger motor ship “Mariya Yermolova” brought businessmen and officials of Astrakhan for negotiations with Aktau colleagues. In future this motor ship will carry out regular voyages in the Caspian Sea. These cruises will become the first stage of global project of creation of International center of nautical tourism.
Alexander Nevredinov, Deputy minister of economic development of Astrakhan region:
- We began large-scale and effective project of world level. We plan to create the International center of nautical tourism in the Caspian Sea and in zones that border with Mangistau and Astrakhan regions. It will be some floating city where people will be able to sail, dive and watch fishes.
Businessmen of two regions have been successfully cooperating in different spheres for a long time. They cooperate in ship construction, and repair of ships, fishing and agriculture, education and culture. Astrakhan residents brought to Aktau products of over 30 companies.
Venera Mustapayeva, deputy director of department of entrepreneurship and industry of Mangistau region:
- Firstly, exposition unites people, also it brings mutually profitable contacts which are interesting for both sides. At the same time it will help to develop our regions.
The visitors became more interested in stand with agricultural products: huge water melons and good potatoes. And the executive power studied the projects with using of new technologies, such as TV medicine.
Arman Aidarkhanov, director of healthcare department of Mangistau region:
- It is very important for Mangistau, as distance is large and we not always have transport etc. Such technologies can allow to solve the problems of many patients by distance.
Signing of treaty between administrations of two regions and memorandum of mutual cooperation became the result of business mission of Astrakhan to Atyrau.
