Kazakhstan is Tourist Industry Fair in Stuttgart
Tourist Industry Fair opens in Stuttgart. This year, Kazakhstan is participating in 9 international tourist industry fairs with local specialists planning to introduce the national culture and traditions of the country as well as some new resort areas. The season of demonstration trips has opened and Kazakhstan has for the first time ever taken part in the Stuttgart Tourist Industry Fair along with another 90 countries. It became known that many travelling people want to come to Kazakhstan with its culture as confirmed by the Lord Mayor of Stuttgart, Wolfgang Schuster who personally attended Kazakhstan’s exhibition stand.
Wolfgang Schuster, Lord Mayor of Stuttgart:
- I have heard a lot about Kazakhstan. I know you have a big territory and a multi-national population. Recently, Europeans have been expressing their interest in your country. They want to go and see Kazakhstan. It is very good that you’re participating in the exhibition.
Almost everyone who came to the fair noticed the Kazakhstan stand. The sounds of dombra and kobyz as well as silver and leather wares all played their role in attracting the visitors. The unusual and new music for Europeans helped to lure the people. The Republic’s specialists also presented new projects in Kazakhstan including the tourist zones in the Akmola, Mangistau and Almaty regions.

- In order to show our tourist potential, it is important to participate in such exhibitions because citizens of other countries still know very little about Kazakhstan. Our country is going to take part in 9 such events this year.
Meanwhile, the Germans say this exhibition was mainly for travelers but everyone had the chance of finding out when it is better to visit Kazakhstan.
